WALKING IN DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND DISEASES ( Part 3A). MINISTERING: PST JOHN ADELEKAN
I will Restore health unto you ( Jer. 30: 17) there’s no human doctor that can speak like that. Nothing can be hard for God. Now, Health means good well being. Sickness and diseases all came before the fall of man that’s why God never made provision for sickness. But He now said He will restore our health.
To walk in dominion is to continue in dominion; to continue perpetually like that; to be in charge. To have rule; to have authority over a domain.
Now you can have dominion over your body: to control and direct it. But note that the devil always challenges anything God gives us. That’s why you must resist him and insist on what God has given. From Isa. 33:24- we shouldn’t be victims of oppressions because the spirits causing them are beneath us – we are seated in Christ far above them – Eph 1: 21;2: 6. The end time church is ordained to walk in dominion in all spheres of life! Gen.1:26 shows us that we have dominion in all the realms of life , even in your dreams. Ps 110: 1 – 3 is the agenda of God since Jesus rose from the dead. The seating position is a dominion state. Christ is seating and those that believe are seated with Him. In baptism (immersion baptism), we were dead and raise/ resurrected with Him – Rom. 6:4. That’s why we can be seated with Him. You have dominion not only over sicknesses and diseases but also the devil – Rom. 16: 20. People in dominion rule over the enemy – Ps.110: 2.
Life is a battle field; that’s why you must contend with the devil (who will always challenge you); and take over what God has given you.
Two Things To Know In Any Battle:
- Know your enemy and the weapon he uses. Eph 6:12. At the root of every affliction, there’s a spirit – Luke 13: 11, Mk 5:8; 9: 17.
- Know who you’re in Christ and know your own weapon too – Mark 6:7, 12-13, 2Cor 10: 4. Matt 3: 11- 12,.
Today we’re looking at one of our weapons: THE ANOINTING OIL – Mark 6: 13, James 5: 14 -15,
What is in the Mystery of the Anointing Oil that Heals the Sick?
Moses was the first person to learn this mystery – Exo 30: 25-26, 30 – 31 – The mystery of anointing oil will keep working till Jesus comes. Today we are His temple… Anything you anoint, you bring God into it – 1Sam 16: 13. Eph. 4: 4. When the anointing oil is blessed by faith, it becomes a medium for conveyance of the power of the Holy Spirit.
Electric wire is not electricity, but when it is connected to source, it conveys electricity!
This Mystery Conveys God Bodily To You.
- The Healing Power of God – Mark 6: 7, 12 – 13.
- The Spirit of the Lord that destroys yokes: Isa10: 27., Isa 9: 4 – 5.
Yoke makes one helpless. Isa 61: 1, Luke 11: 22. Unless you have Jesus in your life, the anointing oil cannot work in your hand.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you have not accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour and you want to, pray this simple prayer of faith: Lord Jesus, forgive me all my sins. Wash me with your blood. I believe you died for me. On the third day, you rose again to justify me. Today I accept you as my Lord and Saviour and I believe my sins are now forgiven. I am justified by your blood. I am saved! I am born again! I am restored back to faith. I am now a child of God. Thank you Jesus for the gift of eternal life. Amen
